How accurate are the exchange rates?

Our rates are sourced from reliable financial data providers and updated throughout the day. However, rates shown are indicative and may differ from actual rates offered by banks and exchange services. Always verify rates before making transactions.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! ColombiaFX caches the last updated exchange rates and your saved conversions locally on your device, so you can access them even without an internet connection. Rates will update automatically when you reconnect.

What is the difference between Free and Premium?

The free version includes ads and limits you to 5 saved conversions. Premium ($2.99/month) removes all ads, gives unlimited saved conversions, priority rate updates, and advanced insights features. You can also watch ads in the free version for temporary ad-free periods.

How do I subscribe to Premium?

Open ColombiaFX, go to Settings (gear icon), and tap "Upgrade to Premium" under the Advertising section. The subscription is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at $2.99 per month and renews automatically.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your device settings. On iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > ColombiaFX > Cancel. On Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > ColombiaFX > Cancel. Your Premium benefits continue until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Open ColombiaFX, go to Settings (gear icon), and tap "Restore Purchases" under the Advertising section. This will restore your Premium subscription if you previously purchased one on the same Apple ID or Google account.

Why do I see ads in the free tier?

The free tier displays contextual, non-sensitive banner and interstitial ads delivered by Google AdMob. You can disable personalized ads through your device settings at any time, or upgrade to Premium to remove all ads.

Is my data secure and private?

ColombiaFX stores all app data locally on your device. We do not require account registration, do not sell your personal data, and only collect anonymous analytics to improve the experience. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Which currencies are supported?

ColombiaFX is specialized for USD to COP (Colombian Peso) conversions. We focus on providing the best possible experience for this currency pair with features like Colombian number formatting and local market insights.

The app is not loading rates. What should I do?

First, check your internet connection. If connected, try closing and reopening the app. The app caches rates for offline use, so your last known rate should still be available. If the issue persists, please contact us at [email protected].
