Colombia FX is a product of Helionix Labs. Helionix Labs ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Colombia FX mobile applications on iOS and Android, as well as the supporting website (together, the "Service"). The Service is for informational currency conversions only and does not provide financial advice.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require account registration, and we avoid collecting personally identifiable information such as your name, address, or phone number. Depending on your use of the Service, we may collect the following data:

• Mobile app usage data: Features accessed, conversions saved, widget interactions.
• Crash diagnostics and stability metadata: Data needed to troubleshoot problems.
• Approximate location information: Country-level data derived from your device or IP address.
• Advertising identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID) or iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), used for contextual ad delivery only.
• Device and browser information: Device type, operating system, browser type/version (website only).
• Cookie and consent preferences: Website only, to remember your choices.
• Analytics data: Anonymous website usage metrics (page views, button clicks, navigation paths) collected only after user consent, especially for EU users.

2. Mobile Advertising & Analytics

Mobile app: We integrate the Google AdMob SDK to display contextual, non-sensitive banner and interstitial advertisements to the free tier. AdMob relies on the Android Advertising ID (AAID) on Android devices and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS. iOS devices will display an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt when required, and the ATT prompt governs whether we can access the IDFA for personalization. Contextual ads do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is permitted by Google’s policies.

Website: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Helionix Labs to understand aggregate usage. IP addresses are anonymized and events focus on functional metrics (page views, button clicks, navigation paths). Analytics cookies are only set after you provide consent, especially for users in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used on the website.

Third-party processors:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC, USA): Mobile advertising delivery and measurement.
• Google Analytics 4 (via Helionix Labs, USA/EU): Website analytics and performance measurement.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Subscription and payment processing (no payment data stored by us).

3. How We Use Information

Collected information is used to operate and improve the Service, monitor performance, analyze usage trends, troubleshoot crashes, and comply with legal obligations. Advertising identifiers are processed by Google AdMob solely to deliver contextual ads and measure impressions or clicks.

We do not sell personal data.

4. In-App Purchases

Premium subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store at $2.99 per month. Purchases and renewals are handled by the respective platform, including billing, renewal notices, and refunds. We do not store your payment card or billing details on our servers. You manage subscriptions, cancellations, and billing directly from your App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. Your Controls

You can disable AdMob tracking and personalized ads using the device-level controls supplied by iOS or Android under Settings > Privacy > Tracking, and you can opt out of personalized ads through the operating system settings that govern advertising identifiers. Turning off tracking will limit personalized ad delivery but does not remove contextual ads provided to the free tier.

6. Data Retention

• Usage and analytics data: Retained only as long as necessary to operate and improve the Service or to comply with legal obligations. Analytics data is deleted or anonymized after 26 months or sooner if required by law or user request.
• Crash diagnostics: Purged periodically once no longer needed for troubleshooting.
• Cookie and consent preferences: Retained until you clear your browser cookies or withdraw consent.
• Advertising identifiers: Managed by your device/OS and can be reset or disabled at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Colombia FX is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where required by law, we will seek your renewed consent.
